Shopping

Everyone is invited! You do not need to be a consignor or volunteer to shop our public sale and our Dollar Day Sale. Similar products will be grouped together so you will save time shopping only for what you need.

Shopper Tips: Come prepared.

Many shoppers find it helpful to bring the following items:

  • Bring your own reusable bags. Please make sure they are empty and ready to be filled!
  • Bring your own basket to carry your purchases while you shop. Laundry baskets work great and many moms bring them to shop with. We will have a limited supply of baskets.
  • A list of your children’s clothing & shoe sizes; a cardboard cutout of their foot works great too. The kids will love making them!
  • Tape measure
  • Cash or Visa/MC payment only. No personal or business checks accepted, no exceptions. (Dollar Day is cash only).

Reminders

Kidcycle takes great care in screening all items that are sold at our sale yet it is impossible to screen 1000′s of items that are consigned with us. Therefore, we require each consignor to sign a release verifying they have checked their items against the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall list. We also strongly suggest that our shoppers visit the links below to see what’s been recalled before heading out to shop with us.

Shopping Frequently Asked Questions

May I bring my kids?
Absolutely! Please keep in mind that the sale will be very busy & crowded and for their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Need help or advice during the sale?
Many of our volunteers are experienced parents who will be happy to help whether you’re a first-time-mom-to-be or a grateful grandparent hoping to get the bare essentials for overnight visits from the grandchildren.

What about recalled items?
Due to recent legislation concerning lead safety testing and recent recalls, we at Kidcycle take the safety of our shoppers and their children very seriously and we do our best to make sure our sale doesn’t include recalled items. Do you have a full time store location?
No, we are a seasonal sale and only twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall.

Is there an entry fee?
No. Free admission!

What if I buy something, get it home and find it damaged or it doesn’t fit my child?
All sales are final, no refunds, returns or exchanges. No exceptions. Please carefully inspect all items before purchasing. If the item is the wrong size, you are welcome to sell it at our next sale.

I have found the perfect (fill in the blank here). How do I check it out so no one will get it?
Please do not remove tags from large items. We will have a small “hold area” where you may check the item with a hold tag for no more than 1/2 hour. After 1/2 hour if you do not claim the item for payment, it will be placed back on the sales floor.

Thank you for shopping our sale, and sincere word of thanks for our volunteers who make the sale happen.
